Abstract: Focusing on the Rock in Rio event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this chapter explores best practices in managing music festivals with environmental concerns in a sustainable way. It is concluded that the Rock in Rio event stimulates the dynamics of the destination and promotes sustainable actions linked to the environment and social responsibility, the basis of green marketing.
