Abstract: The organizational culture contributes for the differentiation between well succeeded organizations and those with less success, because it permits to the organizations to create values based on attitudes that may mobilize a motivated workforce for accomplishing both organizational a personal objectives. With this concept it is possible to study organizations through its symbolic perspective and understand some organizational realities until then were unknown or ignored. This reality permits understand how the “symbolic” can influenciate the behavior and organization of the enterprise structure. Namely, the capacity that symbolic reality has to produce synergies able to reinforce its identity in a context of local development.
